Responsibilities:
- DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Description
- The Construction Laborer position requires the person to demonstrate the ability to follow directions and ask pertinent questions when required.
- The laborer must be willing to learn industry terms, work practices, use of tools, and skills that will allow them to assist other personnel as needed.
- The laborer must to work on time and as scheduled and maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers and supervisors and stay productive throughout the workday.

Duties- Unload tools, prepare building site materials, stack building materials, and set up equipment
- Ensure regulated and proper headgear, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, and clothing are worn
- Participate in JSA development & review
- Follow project instructions from construction manager or supervisor
- Direct traffic safely around the construction or road maintenance site (spotting)
- Perform duties as a Firewatch, when necessary
- Maintain a positive attitude with internal and external customers by providing quality customer service.
- Help equipment operator, riggers, and other skilled labor when necessary.
- Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
- Load or unload construction materials.
- Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding.
- Remove, fill, or compact earth.
- Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Education
- Preferably high school diploma or equivalent
Experience- Preferably 3-6 months minimum experience in fabrication/construction
- Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks
- Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
