Phoenix – Remote
An entrepreneurial company is seeking a remote – Phoenix, Arizona area-based – Accounting & HR Manager who is seeking a new challenge. This is a hands-on role supporting a growing team on financial, administrative, and human resource functions.
The ideal candidate would have a demonstrated background in working with a small to midsized company on a range of accounting, human resources, and administrative issues.
Key parts of the role:
Financial accounting practices and methods
Report preparation of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet creation
Expertise in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel
Oversee day-to-day operations of general accounting
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
Maintain monthly financial statements
Manage accounting policies & procedures
All other related accounting duties
Oversee human resource policies
Assist in managing internal staff relations
Coordinate new employee orientation activities
Ensuring compliance with all applicable HR laws
Execute procedures for record protection, retention, record disposal, and retrieval, establish any necessary procedures
Identify administrative areas of improvement and make recommendations to leadership
Assist in managing & maintaining relationships with vendors.
