Our medical center is seeking an experienced Registration Clerk to join our team and be an important part of the pre- and post-operative care process. The ideal candidate is familiar with HIPAA regulations, and is also knowledgeable about proper surgical procedure and patient care. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, and will communicate regularly with nursing staff.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that hospital policies and procedures are followed at all times.
- Work to help patients and family members be comfortable while they wait to be seen.
- Be able to speak to patients and their families in their native languages.
- Take patients’ vitals and monitor them during their stay.
- Triage incoming patients efficiently, including setting up rooms and equipment in preparation for surgery.
- Communicate with the surgical team as well as other departments such as the radiology department.
Job Types: Contract, Temporary, PRN
Pay: $25.00 per hour
