Position Summary:

The HR Administrator will perform a wide variety of record-keeping and behind the scenes regulatory work while ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable state laws. The HR Administrator is responsible for the support and maintenance of the company’s HR files and tools. We are looking for someone to provide administrative support to the human resources function, as needed. The HR Administrator will report to the VP of Human Resources and will help support her as well as the other department management with HR related matters. The HR Administrator will demonstrate a high level of trust, confidentiality, good judgment, and collaboration. The HR Administrator will work closely with outside leaders, supervisors, and managers of the organization.

• HR Documentation
• Document Control & Record Keeping
• Bonus Plan Changes and Administration
• HR Compliance and liaison with Swiss Re
• HR Risk and liaison with Swiss Re
• HR Project Manager
• HR Policy creation and updates, including Employee Handbook
• Job Descriptions
• DEI Initiatives
• Multi State Laws
• Reports/Charts
• HR Data Entry and Analysis
• Required Trainings
• Audit Files
• Verification of Employment
• Other duties as needed to meet company needs.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years Human Resources experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or a related discipline is required.
• Knowledge of HR practices and familiarity of basic employment laws and compliance issues.
• Excellent written communication skills; to include interpersonal and strong listening skills.
• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills, as well as strong problem-solving skills.
• Critical thinking and adaptability to change.
• Must be a strong individual performer, and work efficiently unsupervised.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects while maintaining timelines, follow up and accuracy.
• Must be able to maintain high level of confidentiality and exhibit honesty and respect.
• High skilled computer literacy including (Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, SharePoint, Visio and PowerPoint)
• Ability to work in a remote team environment.
• Knowledge of benefits and Human Resources related procedures.
• Knowledge of multi state laws and compliance.
• Ability to provide advice, consultation when handling sensitive matters.
