HR Generalist
Description
This newly created position works directly with the VP of HR to successfully ensure all AccuQuote employee needs are met. This is a role that will have many clerical duties and constant follow up in a fast-paced, growth environment. This will require high levels of organization and time management skills. We are seeking someone with at least 2 years of employee relations, performance management and benefit experience.
Responsibilities
· Works independently with minimal supervision
· Adheres to the daily task schedule but is proactive in seeking out more responsibilities if time permits.
· Disciplinary Warnings – Attendance, Performance, Compliance – review and participate, as well as document conversation.
· Terminations – review and participate – Complete all post-term processes.
· Verifications of Employment.
· Benefit Administration – New Hire elections, benefit issues and support, presentation to new hires and open enrollment.
· Employee Handbook Updates
· Basic Employee Relations
· Job Descriptions
· Exit Interviews
· Other duties/projects as assigned
Job Requirements
Education: College degree required.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an HR department. Knowledge of computer systems, business processes and workflows; experience with benefits, performance management and employee relations required.
Skills: Superior verbal and written communication skills, organization skills; advanced PC skills; and the ability to multi-task; strong decision-making and follow-through skills. Basic understanding of PDF, word and Excel.
