POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resources and Compliance Manager guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies and programs for Acera Surgical. The Human Resources and Compliance Manager will report to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for managing recruiting/staffing, performance management processes, compliance with laws and company policy (including human resources and applicable healthcare laws and regulations), employee relations, employee orientation/development/training, compensation and benefits administration, employee safety / welfare / health, consistent with Acera’s corporate mission and values.
RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
· Five or more years of human resource leadership experience required, with strong preference for leadership of HR department at a small, fast-growing organization. 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions preferred.
· Experience with compliance laws/guidelines/regulations as they relate to human resources and the healthcare industry.
· Possess ongoing affiliations with leaders in successful companies, organizations, and/or networks that practice effective Human Resources Management.
· Certification from recognized industry leader (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
