SUMMARY
Plans and administers human resources activity by performing the following duties personally or by working with others in the company to need the needs.
General
Must be courteous: work in a professional, caring manner with internal and external customers
The ability to work with interruptions, and flexibility of workflow
Requires excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate clearly and professionally; ability to organize and prioritize duties; ability to work well with other administrative staff
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Assists in new employee training programs, and personally participates in new-employee orientation and indoctrination programs when required.
2. Assists the administration of employee safety, health, and benefit programs.
3. Assist in the development of Human Resources programs and solutions
4. Develop and maintain all Human Resources Standard Operations Procedures
5. Assist in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures and employee engagement programs
6. Responds to unemployment claims and appeals in a timely manner and collects and coordinates responses for EEOC
7. Assist with the completion of compensation and benefit documentation.
8. Maintains employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data.
9. Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
10. Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by Human Resources Leadership

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be computer literate.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operational instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of the organization.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
