We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Seattle team. This role is responsible for supporting the Sales and Marketing Department, especially the Director, in a range of capacities. This person would work in our Sodo office three days per week and from home the other two.
The Administrative Assistant will:
· Perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks as assigned.
· Provide support to the sales and marketing team.
· Assist with daily office needs and manage the sales and marketing team’s general administrative activities.
· Make meeting arrangements, prepare reports, and update spreadsheets.
· Communicate via email, phone, and message platforms to internal and external stakeholders.
· Work cross-functionally with various team members in the sales and marketing department.
· Identify and fix critical e-commerce issues such as listing errors.
· Occasionally write blog posts, sales copy, and other content related to the operation of marketplaces.
· Plan and participate in meetings and take detailed notes.
· Transcribe handwritten notes into typed documents.
· Gather requirements and order supplies for the sales and marketing team.
· Maintain calendars and oversee follow-up calls and meetings to ensure appropriately scheduled.
· Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to handle the administration of marketing automation tools.
Qualifications
· Experience as an administrative assistant is a preferred. Prior experience working in e-commerce is a preferred.
· Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
· Experience in SEO data analysis and reporting.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office.
· Excellent typing skills.
· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
· Outgoing, collaborative, curious, energetic, and team player personality.
· Data-driven and detail-oriented.
· Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
· A positive, enthusiastic, and diplomatic attitude.
· A consistently professional decorum.
Physical Requirements
The employee will likely be required to sit at a desk and look at computer monitors for much of the day. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds may also be required.
