Job Description
Your opportunity:
We are currently seeking an ambitious, organized and proactive team member to join the Americas Team in New York City. This person will play a key role in the recruitment, growth and development of the brand’s North America team and reports to the VP of Human Resources.
The Senior. Human Resources Manager will work closely with the leadership to help develop and implement talent processes and employee relations practices. The role will provide support in enhancing business performance and through effective talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations and succession planning. Commitment to Inclusion, Diversity and Equity programs and initiatives.
How you will contribute:
Evaluate Employee Relations issues at hand and advise the Manager of proper protocol.
Support in the upskilling of managers and employees with HR skills
Partner with the General Counsel in ensuring employee relations issues are being evaluated and managed appropriately
Talent Management & Organizational Development Assess organization’s development needs and develop programs accordingly to raise the level of human resources development awareness and competencies. This role will require collaboration with People Managers to develop specific training tools to meet their needs.
You will be partnering with employees at all levels across the company to better understand and incorporate their needs into training, career-pathing, and development initiatives in relation to Global and Regional guidelines.
Coordinate recruitment process with the Hiring Manager and Talent Acquisition team. Create job descriptions, screen candidates, ensure that the hiring manager has developed a departmental induction process and is prepared to welcome and integrate the new hire.
Provide guidance to all managers throughout the Performance Review Process and ensure that forms are being completed in a timely manner.
Coordinate HR Compensation team in determining compensation increase and bonuses and advise managers during the salary review process
Knowledge of programs, FMLA guidelines and company leave of absence processes in order to assist employees with inquiries and partner with the Kering Shared Services Benefits team.
Assist with annual open enrolment or other benefit programs as needed
Other ad hoc projects as needed
Your Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area.
Substantial experience working in Human Resources
An ability to manage high volume employee relations, talent management and recruiting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while being flexible and adaptable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong empathy and good business judgement
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Teams a plus
Experience with Workday a plus
Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business
