Position Description

TITLE: Director of Clinic Operations

HOURS: Full-time, Exempt

RESPONSIBLE TO: Chief Executive Officer

JOB SUMMARY:

This Director is an integral member of the Leadership team, overseeing regional and clinic management to ensure delivery of clinical services that results in a consistent patient experience. This Director is expected to work effectively in collaboration and consultation with all members of Allegro Pediatrics. This individual is expected to be passionate about patient experience with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness, a strong verbal and written communicator, highly self-motivated, functioning at the highest levels of professional integrity, and thrives in an innovative environment with data-driven decision making.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

• Education focused on management, leadership, and/or business operations
• Preferred relevant experience in an innovative outpatient healthcare delivery system with similar responsibilities or direct involvement with clinic operations

Comprehensive knowledge of:

• Business principles and techniques of administration, organization, and management to include an in-depth understanding of the key business issues that exist in the health care industry
• These include, but are not limited to, knowledge of strategic and operational planning, health care economics, personnel administration, federal, state and local laws, marketing, financial and cost analysis, trends in the health care industry, and primary health care administrative theory and practice
• Data processing methods and procedures, and computer software systems
• Business process analysis and redesign

Responsibilities:

• Provides strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the clinic operations for AP.
• Facilitates communication between all individuals within and outside the organization, as needed.
• Works closely with regional and clinic managers to help develop and maintain a strong culture of collaboration, motivation, empowerment, and accountability
• Optimizes clinic management and services delivery
• Monitors efficiency and safety as well as effectiveness, usually in coordination with Director of Clinical Services
• Promotes and maintains external relationships with product and service vendors, at local, regional and national level, as applicable
• Collaborates with BizComm in addressing feedback concerns from patients, families, or community regarding clinical services
• Develops and implements new clinical operational workflows and solutions in planning for long term organizational vision, in coordination with the Leadership Team
• Evaluates and optimizes utilization of new technologies for clinic management and services delivery
• Supports Leadership Team activities and responsibilities, including Task Force and Committee participation as directed by the Chief Executive Officer
• Management of staff assigned, including hiring and firing decisions, coaching, leadership, etc.
• Required evening/weekend work or travel is anticipated
• Additional duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $145,000.00 per year
