Project Description:
This role will work closely with the Phoenix HR Lead to drive strategic People & Culture priorities at the Phoenix, AZ manufacturing site.
This role will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and in some cases execution of Human Resources processes, programs and initiatives including Culture, Inclusion & Diversity, leadership Development, and organizational design. May handle more complex and diverse human resources tasks.
This position requires excellent judgment, sound decision-making, attention to detail, and maintaining confidentiality.
Assist HR Lead in building a 3-year culture plan including planning and logistics for employee focus groups, collecting external benchmarking/ insights, drafting communications, etc .
Coordinates and manages logistics to support HR book of work, including but not limited to scheduling meetings, booking conference rooms, and preparing material .
Coordinates leadership development programs and manager capability building .
Assist HR lead and business leaders in Organizational Design and Talent Management via data collation, material preparation, note taking, and follow-ups .
Support or lead execution of actions identified in the Culture Plan .
Partner with cross-functional colleagues such as HR COEs, Operational Excellence, and Global Quality to deliver people & culture solutions .
Provide HR support to site Culture Council and local People & Business Resource Groups (PBRGs) in alignment with strategic priorities .
Acts as a change agent to further embed the company culture and Quality Mindset .
Serves as an in-office point person for site employees and leaders and recognizes complex issues that should be escalated to the HR Service Center and/or HR COEs.
Responsible for updating and maintaining HR/People and culture information on site share points and visual management boards in partnership with Strategy & Business Operations .
Promotes and supports change in the Organization, modeling the values and behaviors of the company culture.
Responsible for other special projects, as assigned.
Respond to and generate HR reports needed on a regular basis (weekly and monthly) for other departments such as Finance and Training across all sites.
Manage sensitive and confidential information.
Regular contact with employees at different levels including site leadership .
Frequent contact with HR peers in the Service Centers in People Services in Florida .
Contact with colleagues in the HR COEs and HRBPs at other sites .
Limited contact with government officials or regulatory agencies .
Limited contact with external vendors .
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or applicable discipline and/or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience in Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing at an international organization preferred.
Excellent people skills and ability to work across a matrix organization, involving others in solving complex issues.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven effectiveness in small and large team environments.
Ability to manage projects and work as part of a project team.
Prior experience in a professional or office administrator role.
Sound analytical abilities and business sense.
Demonstrated ability to proactively manage activities within a dynamic business environment.
Hands-on style and willingness to perform a range of detailed work.
Working knowledge of Personal Computers, Microsoft Office, and Workday .
Ability to flex between tactical and strategic execution .
Maintains confidentiality while operating with respect and professionalism .
This 12+month position starts ASAP.
