SUMMARY
Drives automobile to transport personnel and/or visitors to commercial and industrial establishment and pickup and deliver supplies needed for distribution or replenishment. Performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Works from written or verbal instructions. Reads production schedule, work order, and or requisition to determine items or passengers to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
Transport crewmembers, passengers and personnel at scheduled time and location within a 24-hour period to include assisting with loading/unloading of baggage and other cargo items
Pick up passengers at scheduled meeting time and place. Transport passengers to desired locations.
Assist crew or passengers to check in at the doctors / dentist’s office, or hospital. Obtain doctors reports regarding patient’s condition and provide results report to the Marine Coordinator of the vessel.
Assist arriving crew or passengers with baggage claims if needed. Assist departing crew or passengers to check in at the airline counter and remain with passenger until same has cleared security screening and entered departure lounge.
Assist arriving passengers/visitors/crew with hotel check-in and ensure room availability.
Performs miscellaneous errands such as carrying mail to and from post office. Make bank deposits and submit receipts to Accounting Department.
Makes night drives and extended trips requiring irregular hours.
Maintains vehicle (inside and out) in a clean state and in operating condition daily.
Makes minor repairs or adjustments such as fixing punctures, checking fluid levels and fueling.
Fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stored items and distributes items to company workers.
Drives vehicles to transport stored items from warehouse to consignee or to pick up items from several locations for shipment or delivery.
Receives, pick up spares, materials and equipment at scheduled time and place. Process documentation of cargo though proper departments for retrieval.
Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other departments. Completes reports required by internal and external customers.
Ensure all cash receipts are submitted daily at the end of every business day to the accounting office.
Comply with agency safety protocol and follow posted speed limits while operating a company vehicle.
Ability and willingness to work any shift to include overtime during a 24-hour period to include weekends and holidays to adapt to fluid ship port schedules engaged in 24/7/365 port operations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management.
Ability to communicate on the telephone with proper etiquette
Recognizing and maintaining strict confidentiality of work material
Coordinate crew changes and spare parts delivery including transportation arrangements, hotel reservations, flight bookings and immigration clearance
Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
Assist operations department as needed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
EXPERIENCE
Six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSE
Must possess a valid Guam Driver’s License with endorsements A and B
Must possess a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate Form to comply with U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations 49CFR part 391.41-49
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Defense Biometric Identification System Credential (DBIDS)
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Port Authority of Guam (PAG) identification badge
RELATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
MATHEMATICAL
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
LANGUAGE
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be able to operate a forklift.
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral with internal and external clients, vendors, and wide range of people
Ability to balance multiple tasks and operate within a deadline-oriented environment
Ability to manage high volume of electronic communication, both in the office and while mobile in the field
