Salesforce Release Manager
*Must have Salesforce Experience*
1 year+ contract
100% Remote
- Altria is in need of a release manager in support of the new CI/CD tool they just implemented, Copado.
- There are 3 dev teams supporting Altria’s Salesforce environment.
- Each team will designate a release coordinator and the release manager will work closely with each of the release coordinators when a team is ready to deploy code.
- The release manager will ensure that the dev team has correctly developed code that meets all of the requirements for deployment (security, etc.) and ensures timing of releases from different teams don’t conflict. They’ll have vision across all 3 (potentially 4) dev teams.
- Need to have a strong knowledge of repositories.
- Most likely come from a salesforce development or admin background.
- Experience with a salesforce CI/CD tool is required, Copado is preferred
- Must be comfortable working with many different people who have conflicting priorities and bring organization to it all.
- Multiple teams in Copado will converge for QA/UAT/Prod roll outs
- Wants to be an embedded, hands-on person who’s on point to coordinate w the RM
- Responsible for keeping the workstreams organizing
- Get hands on with repository analysis/management
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $60.00 – $65.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Boston, MA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Release Manager: 8 years (Preferred)
- Salesforce: 3 years (Preferred)
