Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the U.S., is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Employee Engagement & Retention Specialist to join our growing team in Walnut Creek, CA. Remote potions will be considered for the right candidate.
The Employee Engagement & Retention Specialist will help build and sustain a team-oriented, inclusive, and cooperative culture within a large cross-functional business Segment. Core to the role will be reducing turnover in an industry that is prone to job-hopping. A successful candidate will use analytics and data-driven evidence to support retention and engagement programs & recommendations. This is a unique opportunity to be a member of a team helping to build the talent engagement practices, programs and strategies that will impact the future of this growing company.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for executing strategic employee programs and engagement activities across all locations, such as employee events, community partnership benefits, and other events.
· Focus on engagement programs that can be executed remotely — celebrating employee work anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, and professional accomplishments.
· Create and maintain a virtual culture that makes employees feel energized to start their day, and fulfilled when their day ends.
· Amplify the values and culture of Amerit Fleet Solutions
· Oversee the delivery of our pulse engagement survey, including working with our business partner team on action planning
· Administer employee recognition, appreciation, and engagement programs, including our community service programs
· Plan and deliver unique employee events and experiences for our employees
· Develop and implement an annual calendar of events and corresponding budget
· Monitor postings on Indeed, Linked In, and other job boards and work with managers to identify high risk candidates.
· Use data to develop turnover mitigation strategies.

· The ideal candidate is physically located in or nearby Walnut Creek, CA but remote candidates will be considered.
· 10-20% travel may be required.
