Anderson Trucking Service, Inc. (ATS) is seeking a full-time HR Analyst to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable industry leader while contributing to an always-in-demand industry! This is an office-based role in our St. Cloud, MN headquarters office.
The HR Analyst is responsible for providing HR administration, consultation and support involving multi-functional areas and responsibilities within our Human Resources Department. Responsibilities include administering and maintaining assigned HR functions, developing and implementing programs, policies and procedures to support company goals and competitive practices, monitoring, preparing and analyzing data/trends and staying current on applicable legislation and government regulations to improve and sustain functional impact. With a primary focus on Compensation/Benefits, Systems, and Compliance, this position will actively contribute to overall success of the HR team by providing guidance and assistance regarding data analytics/trends, developing and preparing accurate reporting and effective communications/presentation materials, collaborating and participating in team pr effectively and positively with the HR team and our internal clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Compensation/Benefits
1. Administers compensation (e.g., merit review/career path) and benefits (e.g., FMLA) processes and procedures.
2. Identifies, reports and manages metrics and benchmarks to guide compensation/benefits decisions as well as to manage to corporate and regulatory guidelines and policy.
3. Secures, analyzes, interprets benchmarking data; include participating in salary/benefits surveys.
4. Prepares, evaluates, maintains and analyzes compensation/benefits components and reporting (e.g., job descriptions, market pricing, FLSA, ACA);
5. Ensures compliance requirements are met (e.g., wage and hour laws, recordkeeping/reporting, document retention standards).
6. Creates and distributes compensation related communications.
HR Systems & Administration
1. Writes, maintains and supports a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing metrics and requests. Maintains data integrity in systems by running queries, auditing and analyzing data.
2. Performs data entry and/or documents standard operating procedures (SOP’s) as needed or delegated.
3. Assists in the improvement of systems processes by sharing and identifying opportunities, partnering with HR team, IT staff and vendors as needed to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
4. Ensures HR document retention policy and practices are current and in compliance.
General
7. Collaborates and participates in team projects of various scopes within the HR department.

9. Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours, and infrequent travel may be required.
10. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
