Responsible for welcoming and screening visitors. This level of work involves greeting and directing visitors to the proper office, answering incoming calls, answering routine inquiries, and directing callers to the appropriate Human Resources office. Performs a variety of clerical support.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Politely greets employees and/or visitors and notifies the proper office of their arrival.
2. Operates a multiple-line telephone system for the Human Resources Office by receiving incoming telephone calls and making connections with appropriate parties or taking messages as needed.
3. Answers questions of a general nature. Monitors and responds to the emails addressed to the recruitment mailbox.
4. Maintains database and equipment to prepare employee and track employee identification cards. Handles badges (new and replacement) as needed per the established guidelines.
5. Sorts, distributes, and monitors mail and incoming faxes to Human Resources Office staff in a prompt manner. Maintains strict confidentiality with respect to handling personnel records, data, correspondence and phone calls.
6. Sorts, indexes, and files lists, reports, forms, records, and/or other documents alphabetically, numerically, or by other predetermined classification. Performs repetitive clerical and manual tasks as needed by the Human Resources Office staff.
7. Assists with collecting missing documentation of new hires as needed.
8. Provides regular backup assistance and administrative support to other clerical office personnel with a willingness to learn assignments of progressively increasing difficulty and complexity. Assists with special projects.
9. Assists with scheduling new employee processing, clerical assessments, pre-screening interviews, and other events as needed.
10. Performs other related duties as assigned.
