Apple is looking for a resourceful, energetic individual to assist the development team with purchasing, program and material management. Someone who thrives in a fast pace environment and responds to changes quickly. The System RF group is a growing high energy, results oriented team. An EPS (Engineering Project Specialist) must be able to prioritize issues and track the details. An EPS must be a fearless organizer, ready to work with Finance, Engineers, Engineering Managers, RF Product Design, RF Productization, RF Product Definition Hardware, Customs, and transport teams to manage purchase requisitions, maintain invoice tracking, managing goods receipts and logging PRs. An EPS will be working and interfacing with our development teams spread across the globe (China, UK, Spain, Canada, San Diego, and Cupertino).

Description
– Create Purchase Requisitions, maintain invoice tracking, and good receipts – Work closely with engineering leads, managers around the globe to manage purchasing of CapEX and OPEX items – Communicate project status to vendors/engineering teams regarding PO/Invoice, material requirements, and delivery schedules – Ensure on time delivery of vendor components or finish goods, monitor and optimize logistic flows – Work on multiple projects, simultaneously – Vendor Management – Create and manage accounts for vendors and CMs – Support project engineers and managers to assist with build configuration maintenance in Nimbus/GroundHog DB – Manage all CAPEX and OPEX activities for System RF team
Education & Experience
BA/BS degree and 2+ years of industry experience
Additional Requirements
- Working experience with overseas vendors including projects, purchasing, logistics, etc.
- Experience/course work in supply chain management, business process engineering/improvement
- Ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin
