The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting our HR Business Partners and HR leaders in driving, and enhancing HR related programs and processes for their designated customer groups. Responsibilities include supporting the execution of overall human resources initiatives and programs including on-boarding and off-boarding, company policies and practices, employee relations, engagement, reporting, talent acquisition, talent management and Workday Management. This role will also support efforts in analyzing and reviewing data and programs to support our HR people initiatives to include DE&I.

Your Responsibilities
50% HR General Support
Support leaders and teammates in HR practices
Document policies, procedures, and be a resource to train admin managers
Drive usage of HR programs and processes throughout the organization
Execute offboarding tasks including exit interviews
Complete onboarding requirements and monitor I9 compliance
Support manager questions regarding core HR practices and act as liaison with recruiting team
Assist with and/or handle appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws
Other duties as assigned
25% Data Analytics
Determine trends and gaps in our people through data and insights
Support reporting and analysis of project and program work
Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret data to identify opportunities and advisable actions that optimize talent and drive business results
25% Workday Management
Administer activities within the Workday system to support programs and projects
Update, educate and provide guidance to team members needing support on policies and procedures regarding HR practices
Administration and understanding of Workday core HR processes
Coach and assist internal team and HRBP’s on use of system standards
Partner with HRIS team to manage system upgrades, system changes and related technical requirements
Execute and update procedures in Workday (employee transactions)
Participate in testing within the system to support enhancements and configurations
Support with change management and cascading communication to the broader audience regarding system changes
Provide recommendations for new or changes in system functionality
Be an active participant in Workday community and research
Essential Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of HR experience or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 5 years of HR experience
Thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership skills to coach and guide the management team and to support and to motivate staff
Experience with Workday HRIS System
A solid understanding of employment and labor law
Demonstrated multi-tasking and project management skills
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good to have:
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Labor Relations experience is highly desired
Prior experience with Workday
Human Resources experience with companies supporting 250-500 or more associates
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization skills

COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION:
We provide market-driven base pay, based on skills, abilities, and level of experiences. Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of skills and level of experience. The starting range for this position is $69,590.29 – $92,816.06, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience. Additionally, we believe that our team members are the reason for our success and all team members are incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and individual results achieved. While the specific bonus plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions, the targeted bonus plan and targeted percentage amount for this role is Bonus – MIP, 5% Annual.
