Ashfield Engage Hiring for Workday HR Analyst at Remote Full Time

The role will provide design, configuration, testing and support for the Workday HCM (Human Capital Management) application, in addition to other systems supported by the HR Technology function. The individual in the position serves as a technical/functional point-of-contact for the HR users and related business groups. The role covers all functional areas including but limited to, Security, Reporting, Absence, Benefits, Recruitment, and Performance Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting support for functional and technical production issues, including coordinating with Workday using their case management system.

• Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to optimize business processes (particularly workflow/security). Collaboration will be both in-person and virtual/remote so demonstrated experience in both is important.

• Collaborate with functional stakeholders to build reporting (basic and advanced – calc fields/all reporting types)

• Assist in researching new capabilities within Workday

• Work closely with other Workday technical resources to ensure continuous improvement of integrations. and act as back-up for integration troubleshooting and minor enhancements.

• Manage Workday functional ticketing queue to ensure tickets are addressed in a timely manner with excellent customer service

• Manage Workday major releases, identifying impact and enhancement opportunities associated with a new release, and communicating appropriately.

• Support regression testing and introduction of required changes as new Workday releases are introduced. Both manual testing and using the SMART automated testing solution.

• Provide change management support by delivering training and development of materials (i.e. QRGs, FAQs, and training decks).

• Design and configure new Workday enhancements as they are made available with each new release. Coordinate with Workday’s Change Control Board to evaluate, prioritize, and schedule these enhancements.

• Responsibility for the upkeep of the education material on the Portal to ensure critical knowledge sharing opportunities exist and current, real-time, information can be accessed on demand by all relevant stakeholders/customers.

• Responsibility for the completeness and accuracy of global data.

• Run frequent EIB’s across all functional areas of the application.

Role Requirements

• BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration, or related technical field or equivalent experience is required

• 3 years working with HR related technologies as a technical / functional expert with a clear functional understanding of core HR business practices, processes, and terminology (HRIS, compensation, Benefits (including US), recruiting, performance management) and the ability to develop solutions to address business problems and requirements.

• Has been involved in at least 1 Workday implementation or equivalent Workday experience

• Workday functional expertise and familiarity with technical offerings (EIB/Core Connectors)

• Experience with Kainos SMART Tool an advantage

• Knowledge and understanding of Portals and content manager tools

• Proficiency with MS word, PowerPoint, and Visio

• High level of proficiency with Excel

• Occasional ability to travel which could include an overnight stay

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
