Olympic College is seeking to hire The Assistant Director of Outreach works under general direction and is responsible for coordinating a culturally appropriate outreach program, with a focus on supporting students of color, students with disabilities, and low-income students in accessing the educational resources of Olympic College. The Assistant Director will work closely with prospective students, their families, community members, and community-based organizations to foster awareness of the college admission, financial aid, and scholarship application processes. They will also collaborate with colleagues to ensure newly enrolled students establish relationships with a network of supportive individuals and offices to help guide their successful transition into the college environment. Outreach will have a particular focus on culturally responsive support for communities of color, neurodiverse communities, low-income communities, and students with disabilities.

This position maintains high-quality customer service and coordination through collaborative efforts with the college and surrounding communities. The position helps support the college’s goals of diversity, equity, inclusion, community engagement, access, and academic excellence. The Assistant Director of Outreach position is 40 hours per week. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. This position will primarily be on campus and in the community with appearances at local schools and organizations. Flexible remote working options may be possible. Occasional evening and weekend hours and travel required. This position reports to the Director of Outreach & the Welcome Center.

This is a Full-time exempt position scheduled to work Monday through Friday. The salary for this position is $67,047 – $73,753 annually, which includes a generous benefits package that includes the following.
