Clinic Float RN – Internal Medicine & Podiatry – Summary:

The Clinic RN provides professional nursing care for patients in our busy Internal Medicine and Podiatry departments.

Clinic Float RN – Internal Medicine & Podiatry – Qualifications:

• Current Wisconsin RN license or eligible
• CPR certification
• Previous Clinic Experience and one year of experience in internal medicine, family medicine, and/or podiatry
• Prior Epic experience preferred
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality

Clinic Float RN – Internal Medicine & Podiatry – Responsibilities:

• Provides nursing care to patients in accordance with established nursing standards for internal medicine and podiatry patients.
• Works the Epic In Basket and responds to symptom based calls from patients.
• Monitors and responds to MyChart messages from patients and other members of the care team.
• Assists in scheduling tests, treatments, or procedures at other facilities.
• Assesses patient status to determine need for treatment and responds to situations as necessary under direction of medical provider.
