The Senior Manager of Operations is responsible for providing leadership, staff development, and management of key services within strategic scheduling department for the practice. Serves as an advocate for USOSM facilitating positive relationships between USOSM and the Partnering Practices. This role supports multiple locations/practices and provides appropriate support to partner Doctors in the execution of the practice’s mission to provide quality patient care and strategic scheduling. Reporting on vital areas for improvement for efficiencies and increasing revenue.
Essential Job Duties

Supervises non-clinical staff through ensuring staff coverage, training new and existing employees in policies, processes and procedures. Reviews and approves non-clinical time and attendance. Leads staff meetings. Mentors staff to achieve excellent performance and evaluates and counsels’ staff as necessary. Assists in all functions of hiring, performance reviews, corrective actions, and terminations with supervision.

Monitor production and overtime within territory to assist in achieving the bonus plan set in place. Report to Strategic Scheduling Director of Operations where improvement is needed to meet the metrics to achieve bonus.

Participate in meetings with the Strategic Scheduling Director of Operations to strategize and develop systems for increasing efficiency throughout the scheduling department and practices.

Oversees and maintains all supplies, and equipment. Verifies all scheduling areas are fully functioning and contain proper equipment and orders supplies as needed.

Organizes and coordinates the doctors’ schedules to increase production.

Assists the Regional Directors and Operations managers on managing non-Clinical staff for Practices and is available to support and provide regular reporting on metrics set for the schedulers.

Enforces HIPAA policies.
