ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This is not a typical 8am to 5pm position. 1. Overseeing recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new employees. 2.
Consulting with top executives on strategic planning; and serving as a link between an organization’s management and its employees. 3. Maintain employee records for both AQCS and SSAC, and ensuring they are following state guidelines. 4.
Conduct disciplinary actions of employees for both AQCS and SSAC. 5. Update company policies for both AQCS and SSAC. 6.
Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions. 7. Develop/Update employee job performance evaluations for both AQCS and SSAC. 8.
Conduct Company new hire Orientation for both AQCS and SSAC. 9. Assist with conducting benefit analysis. 10.
Maintaining Subcontractor’s files and ensuring they are in compliance with state guidelines. 11. Developing a Host Provider Recruitment Program, such as but not limited to training programs and marketing. 12.
Enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices. 13. Supports organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; and recommending changes initially and ongoing. 14.
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the agency at hearings. 15. Enforces management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resources policies and procedures. 16.
Retains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records. 17. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Must articulate clearly. Must demonstrate basic math skills (addition and subtraction). Must communicate (speak, read, and write) and comprehend in English. Must demonstrate time management skills through the successful completion of essential duties and assigned tasks in a timely manner.
Must observe the environment using the various physical senses. Must be dependable in attendance and timeliness to work schedules. Must have hearing and vision correctable to normal ranges. Must demonstrate organizational skills.
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: 1. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. 2. Must be able to perform flexible motions to complete repetitive tasks.
3. Must be able to use body mechanics in controlling unpredictable behavior. 4. Must be able to negotiate stairs, streets, barriers, or other obstacles in order to deliver/provide services.
WORKING CONDITIONS: 1. May interact with individuals who may be emotionally or physically hostile, agitated, or uncooperative. 2. May have exposure to a moderately noisy environment.
