Anticipated salary: $63,000 Extended experience: up to $70,500 if experience exceeds expectations
Principal Functions:
Leads program activities and manages the training and development calendar, virtual platforms, communication and dissemination processes and the ongoing tracking and reporting of staff development and staff engagement deliverables, outcomes, and products.
Supports relevant data collection efforts and synthesizes information for recommended action.
Coordinates communications between the Staff Development and Staff Engagement team and ASTHO’s programmatic and cross-cutting teams.
Leads and coordinates relevant project engagement with ASTHO’s internal staff.
Supports the planning, implementation and evaluation of staff development and staff engagement activities (ranging from event planning, agenda creation, technical support, and note taking to session facilitation).
Develops and implements strategies to increase employee engagement.
Assists the Director, Staff Development and Staff Engagement with managing the employee engagement platform by initiating employee engagement surveys to facilitate action plans that will create staff trainings, workshops, and enhance internal communication.
Maintains the Learn email inbox and training and development calendar.
Serves as the subject matter expert of LinkedIn Learning for ASTHO to manage and curate identified learning paths for staff.
Tracks and assesses the professional development needs of the organization to recommend and identify development opportunities.
Manages all aspects of the virtual platforms (Zoom, intranet, Sli.do, Teams).
Creates and maintains various reports (and modify depending on the audience/stakeholder).
Manages participation, engagement, communications, and scheduling for development sessions.
Supports and plans ASTHO’s staff convenings (ASTHO Week/Day) through meeting coordination, strategic planning, tracking data and ongoing follow up.
Identifies reporting needs and analyze reported data for program development and continuous improvement.
Monitors contractor progress and reporting, including tracking invoicing and submitting check requests, when needed.
Performs administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, organizational development, or a related field
2+ years’ relevant experience required; experience with not-for-profit preferred but not required.
2+ years’ experience using virtual learning platforms (LinkedIn Learning, WebEx, Zoom, Adobe Connects, etc.)

Knowledge of virtual learning platforms (LinkedIn Learning, WebEx, Zoom, Adobe Connect, etc.)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Word and Excel; basic knowledge of other relevant software preferred.
