Description:
Manages and administers assigned human resources programs and processes such as recruitment, HRIS, applicant tracking, employee leave programs, and Affirmative Action Plans; assists the HR Director with other aspects of HR administration such as employee relations, training, compensation and benefits administration.
1. Responsible for all non-exempt recruitment; assists in exempt position recruitment.
2. Responsible for the development of annual Affirmative Action Plan (AAP), all AAP reporting, and ensuring compliance with AAP requirements.
3. Ensures legal compliance with applicable local state and federal employment laws, including but not limited to FLSA, FMLA and ADAAA; completes and ensures submission of annual reports due to the DOL, including the EEO-1 and VETS 4212 reports.
4. Maintains the HRIS and applicant tracking database and other information system functions as assigned.
5. Develops, documents, and updates job descriptions, job skill inventories and job progression and training.
6. Provide consultative support to managers and supervisors on human resources policies, guidelines, processes, and procedures.
7. Administers policies related to FMLA and other leave programs.
8. Assists the HR Director with other aspects of HR management such as employee relations, training, compensation and benefits administration.
9. Works closely with other members of the Human Resources Team to coordinate work and support the Team goals.
10. Plays a leadership role on Team projects as assigned.
11. Maintains a high level of confidentiality in handling Company and Employee information.
12. Maintains positive and effective relationships with all business contacts inside and outside the Company, as well as with governmental agencies.
