Description:
The following essential functions are the basic job duties that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Support company’s mission, vision, and values; adhere to its policies and procedures in carrying out the responsibilities of this position
Lead the new hire orientation process and make recommendations for continuous improvement; prepare new hire paperwork and conduct all background checks
Accurately entering and maintaining employee records and benefit elections/changes in ADP, T&E Proprietary ERP System, 401k provider and insurance provider’s systems
Assist with employee benefit programs including the annual open enrollment process and invoice processing
Manage records of current and former employees; ensure that all information is complete, accurate and up to date
Support and process the weekly payroll by updating employee changes in the HRIS system
Manage time and attendance records
Maintain personal, FMLA and disability records; track hours
Conduct exit interviews; analyze data and make recommendations based on the analysis
Present Human Resources policies and benefits enrollment information at new employee orientation sessions and annual open enrollment meetings
Prepare a variety of reports and analysis as needed
Compile, organize, update and analyze data in Excel for benefits and other HR needs
Coordinate placement of temporary workers in different departments
Translate documents as necessary for communications
Manage the communications boards for all buildings including federal/state postings to maintain legal compliance
Complete verifications of employment as needed
Order office supplies
Relieve receptionist during break and lunch
