HR Generalist (great opportunity to grow into a HRM role) – North America
Location: Indianapolis or Metro Detroit Area
Employment Type: Permanent, full time
Reports to: Vice President US ATS (dotted line to Chief People Officer for ATS)
Travel requirements: Travel within North America is expected.
Qualification: Bachelor‘s degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or related field
ROLE SUMMARY:
In this role, you will partner with our US management team to facilitate the delivery of great people services. You will own the local people strategy ensuring all aspects (including but not limited to capacity, competence, and capability) are met. You will serve as an advocate for our employees, whilst being responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of best-in-class people processes.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR TASKS?
- Partner with US leadership ensuring we have the required capacity, competence, and capability needed to deliver company objectives
- Management of recruitment activities, including governance of short and long-term hiring needs covering the US and Mexico
- Functional owner of our US compensation & benefits plans
- Management of onboarding and offboarding procedures
- Functional owner of training & development plans
- Support & coach managers on day-to-day HR issues
- Ensure all HR functions comply with local legal standards
- Active cooperation with the wider HR team on global HR activities; participating in the creation and roll-out of new HR processes and systems
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Experience in a similar role demonstrating knowledge of HR function and best practices
- Experience partnering with leadership teams
- Understanding of full employee lifecycle
- Good knowledge of local labor laws and regulations
- Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Flexibility with working in office and remotely
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Spoken and written competence in Spanish will be an advantage!
