POSITION SUMMARY
The Junior Developer position reports to the IT/IS Manager who is responsible for the oversight of the company’s Enterprise and Digital Applications. The Junior Developer’s role specializes in working with the IT/IS Manager, ERG Project Manager, and other developers to assist in ERP design-related tasks. The Junior Developer will learn the codebase, attend design meetings, and assist the development team with implementing changes to the ERP. Additional collection, organizing, and effectively analyzing the data may be required. The position supports the designing, implementing and managing of changes to the ERP as well as provide essential data information to various company departments.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Job Functions)
Collaborates with other developers and engineers to design, build, and maintain changes
Assists with all functions of software coding and design and responding to requests from Design Team.
Develops ERP solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the ERP Change Development lifecycle
Troubleshoots issues as a Tier II resource to the ERG Team
Provides on-call support as necessary
Produces and maintains software documentation in a timely manner including but not limited to design specifications, marketing/sales materials, user manuals/guides, training materials, proposals, reports, and on-line help.
Learns the codebase and improves coding skills.
Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources, identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets
Filters and cleans data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and key performance indicators to locate and correct problems
Performs further and final analysis to determine the meaning of the data and data screening
Prepares reports based on analysis and presenting to management
Works with management to prioritize business and information needs
Prepares all companies data to ensure deduplication, integrity, and structure according to Company quality standards
Imports data according to templates
Helps to identify continuous improvement in department processes and offers solutions to promote efficiency as Avante continues to grow
Works professionally and efficiently with all levels within the organization
Adheres to all company employment policies and safe practices
Performs other duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience
2 years of experience writing code in Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and C#
Experience using SQL to update and retrieve data
High-level written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to analyze, model and interpret data
Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large scale databases.
Other Qualifications:
May be required to work overtime when approved.
