General Job Description Summary:

Reporting to the Head of Driver Operations, this position is responsible for managing overall supply of drivers in each operating market.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Own forecast for the supply of drivers and balance overall supply with demand in each operating market

• Analyze driver cohorts, activity, and trends to understand levers that can impact overall supply

• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and other Operational team leaders in weekly Sales & Ops Planning, and client launch meetings

• Manage & develop recruiting associate and determine proper metrics for the overall recruiting efficiency

• Balance overall driver supply with 3rd party partners (including other delivery service partners)

• Source new avenues for driver supply including delivery service partners and other 3rd party on-demand labor platforms

• Negotiate and manage contracts with 3rd party service providers

• Ad hoc analysis and projects as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or other business management discipline

• 5+ years of planning experience, preferably in an operations or supply chain environment

• 2+ years of management experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Self-starter and can work independently

• Detailed-oriented and excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient with Google Drive, Slack, and related operations software

• Experience with 1099 contractors highly preferred

• Experience with SQL or other data analysis tools is a plus

• Experience in procurement and contract negotiations is a plus

• Move or lift up to 50 pounds on a daily basis.

Travel:

This position will require up to 10-15% travel
