–This position is more than just clerical/secretarial.
–Computer/typing skills/some type of automotive background in parts or service is very helpful.
–Communication/organizational skills, a must.
–Drivers license required.
Responsibilities:
–Handle customer traffic, i.e., phones & in person.
–Give auto parts/labor estimates, ordering of parts/stock/office supplies, prepare work orders, finalize invoices, and take payments.
–Coordinating between customers & mechanics about parts availability & scheduling of appointments for repairs needed.
–End of month reports/filing
–Will be responsible for keeping the office/waiting room area clean/presentable.
–Occasional picking up of parts/customer vehicles (using company vehicle).
–Any other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
