Applicants should have a genuine concern for the elderly. Experienced candidates are encouraged to apply, however no prior experience is necessary. The facility will pay the course fee and testing fee for the CNA course and offer a $500.00 retention bonus after 6 months. Current positions available are full-time and part-time day shift, full-time and part-time PM shift, and a long shift weekend shift on Friday and Saturday from 6 AM to 9 PM. Work 28 hours and be compensated for 40 hours. Choose an every other weekend or every weekend long shift schedule. A $1,000 sign on bonus is being offered for all CNAs with current certification.’

Job Duties Include:
1. Assist with and/or perform personal care for residents.
2. Ready residents for meals and assist each resident as necessary.
3. Assist residents with elimination as needed.
4. Assist residents in positioning, transfer, and ambulation.
5. Assist with simple treatments, comfort, and safety measures.
6. Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer of residents.
7. Maintain a sanitary and orderly environment in resident’s rooms.
8. Care for equipment and maintain work areas in safe and sanitary manner.
9. Adhere to nursing department policies and procedures.
10. Chart daily personal functions of each resident, including intake and output PRN, elimination, mental status, and activity.
11. Respond promptly to resident call lights and safety alarms, carry a pager.
12. Provide necessary assistance in performance of delegated tasks and notify the appropriate nurse when the situation indicates.
13. Report repair needs to maintenance staff.
14. Provide necessary assistance to other departments whenever requested or needed.
15. Treat all residents, staff and visitors with respect and dignity in any given situation.
16. Attend staff meetings and in-service functions as required.
17. Notify purchasing staff when nursing assistant supplies need to be ordered.
18. Perform other duties as assigned.
