SCOPE OF POSITION
Plans, directs and administers various HR activities involved in the support of HR functions including recruitment, compensation, employee relations, benefit administration, employee communications, leave and disability administration, and general customer support. Plans, directs, and monitors the activities of all assigned department. These activities involve the interaction with employees, management, agencies and the community. Ensures personnel policies and procedures are administered and communicated in a manner that promotes consistent and equitable treatment of team members, recognition and support of human values in the workplace and harmonious working relationships between all team members for assigned facilities. Ensures the effective communication of all approved Human Resources programs though appropriate management channels and monitors, as required, their implementation, administration, and results for assigned facilities. Consults with and advises Directors, Managers, and Supervisors regarding team member counseling and disciplinary activities for assigned facilities Participate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings. Responsible for maintaining compliance with all federal and state regulations concerning employment and represents the company for any unemployment claims. Responsible for responding to employee relations issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and civil rights complaints.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required. Five years Human Resource Management experience with two years experience at manager level preferred. Requires practical and theoretical knowledge of human resources principles and government regulations. Must possess critical thinking, problem solving, priority setting, de-escalation, and good communication skills.
