A partnership with the HR team, operations team, and leadership to guide and support employee relations as it relates to conflict management and resolution, investigations, performance management, leave administration, and workers compensation
Ability to act as the liaison for employees and leadership to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices, and regulations
A consultive approach that includes coaching educating and guiding processes related to performance management, discipline, dispute resolution, and workplace interventions
Creative and effective recommendations and solutions to challenging workplace issues
Strong knowledge and understanding of federal and state labor laws and regulations, ADA, FMLA, and state leave laws
Ability to use discretion and maintain confidential and highly sensitive information
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work in high pressure situations and resolve conflict
Five (5) + years of experience of combined professional human resources administration, including two (2) years in employee relations
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR/SPHR preferred

Work is performed primarily in an office setting with extensive public contact and frequent interruptions.
Physical
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
