About This Role
This position provides day-to- day, HR support across client groups. Partners with assigned client groups delivering solutions in support of business needs and objectives. Proactively resolves HR and business issues and provides solutions through organizational effectiveness and employee life cycle. Responsible for and/or serves as an HR liaison for all HR aspects, such as: HR analytics, employee relations, employee engagement, change management, organizational design and development, compensation, benefits, diversity, equity and inclusion, and/or training, coaching/development, and workforce planning.
HR Analytics:
Ideal candidate must possess very strong HR analytics background; specifically related to, attrition, hiring trends, forecasting and modeling. Expert level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.
New Business Support:
Pursuit support: Labor category mapping, authoring total compensation planning, key personnel identification attending regular tag-ups, color team contributions, and otherwise representing HR in pursuit of new contracts.
Other core skills:
Will produce Monthly Operating reviews (updating stats and analytics with applicable supporting analysis and trends)
Review and analyze frequent requests for salary and promotional opportunities.
Lead and/or participate with employee relations investigations.
Analyze and track attrition to include follow-on research and provide recommendations on mitigation strategies.
Partner with Workforce Intelligence on forecasting and workforce planning.
Strategic partner on talent development and succession planning.
Provide training recommendations.
Partner with management on performance improvement plans.
Coach others regarding policies, practices and procedures.
Work to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on client base.
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight from manager.
Ability to work and thrive in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
Must posse knowledge of Human Resource functions: Employee relations, compensation practices, human resource information systems.
Requires: A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience
Required Education and Clearance
Bachelor’s degree with an advanced degree preferred.
Ability to obtain clearance, TS+ preferred.
Requires advanced to expert knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have broad knowledge of project management. Requires substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or
systems in order to provide enhancements within job area. Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years
prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a
minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
