Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Process weekly and semi-monthly payroll
Respond to timekeeping inquiries, making changes to employee information, resolving discrepancies and/or clarifying procedures for employees, supervisors, managers, and others.
Prepare and conduct trainings for employees regarding payroll information.
Manage random drug/alcohol testing on a quarterly basis
Ensure timesheets are processed and approved by manager timely and follow up as necessary.
Check and respond to any mailbox inquires/request in a timely manner(48 hours)
Research and resolve all payroll related issues, timely, and accurately.
Ensure payroll records are maintained and organized.
Calculate and reconcile all retro/missing day errors.
Review the Paychex Flex System for errors, daily
Verify data and payroll journal entries
Ensure garnishments are reviewed and entered in the system in a timely fashion.
Ensure that employees receive copies of garnishments
Verifies Kaiser and Metlife invoice with current enrollments
Ensures legal complains with the state and federal regulations by maintaining payroll records
Maintains files and records of employees
File documentations according to folder’s organization set up
Provide advice, assistance, and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation
Manage attendance exceptions (monitoring points for absenteeism) and vacation request utilizing time and attendance program and ensure disciplinary notices are processed accurately and timely.
Process and maintain documentation: disciplinary actions, wage changes, performance evaluations, training, etc.
Reviews and/or input HR information into Paychex Flex, as applicable
Assist and participate in company events
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Performs other duties as assigned
