Material Logistics Operator I

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Material Log Operator I, are to:

• Drive tractor trailers and transport raw material and finished goods based on network needs;
• Complete paperwork to ensure PA DOT (Pennsylvania Department of Transportation) compliance;
• Work with receiving/shipping team on daily activities and trucking plans;
• Follow all documented processes and procedures;
• Transport materials and ensure timely and accurate completion for all required SAP transactions using appropriate PPE and material handling equipment;
• Finish product packaging using visual work instructions according to all regulatory requirements;
• Complete all required transactional steps to receive and ship material;
• Identify, define, and implement process improvements or cost savings activities’.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED;
• At least one year of experience in materials, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain;

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
• Ability to operate independently;
• Demonstrates problem solving abilities;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Powered industrial truck (fork truck) certification;
• Ability to work in team environment;
• SAP proficiency in daily transactions in one primary logistic function;
• CDL License.
