Human Resources and Purchasing Support
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Supervisor: Financial Manager/HR Director
Pay Range: $15-$20/hour
About us: Benchmark has been around for over 40 years. We have recently expanded our production bringing in new equipment and expanding our departments. Essential Functions:
Human Resources (45%)
Bookkeeping/Purchasing (50%)
Supply Inventory (4%)
Non-Essential Functions (1% of job)
Minimum Qualifications:
-Education: High School Diploma and at least 2 years of college
-Experience: At least two years of experience as a bookkeeper, one-year experience in collection and computer experience
-Skills Set: Good written and verbal communication in English, strong organizational skills, and a basic knowledge of office equipment
-Physical: Ability to sit/stand for 8+ hrs., ability to view a computer screen 8+ hrs., ability to lift 30+ lbs. and general physical activity are required
-Other: The ability to learn new things, multitask and follow company policies
Preferred Qualifications:
-Education: BS Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
-Experience: At least two years’ experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting, at least one-year in inventory control, at least one year in collections and one year of computer experience.
-Skill Set: Strong knowledge of office equipment and computer skills
-Other: Confidential person, positive attitude, ability to be impartial when it comes to managerial decisions regarding fellow co-workers and understanding the overall goal of the company and the impact that this position has when it comes to achieving that goal
