The Human Resources Manager will oversee the daily operation of the Human Resources office. Responsible for areas of Recruiting, Employee Relations, Benefits, Events, Workers Compensation and other employee-related tasks.

What you will have an opportunity to do:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Five years Human Resources management experience required, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Excellent technology skills: Microsoft Office, HRIS system, Applicant Tracking system, and online recruiting resources.
Must be in process or have completed the vaccine process for COVID-19 by time of job offer, and be willing to stay fully vaccinated (fully vaccinated means completing all doses of COVID-19 vaccine including any future booster requirements per schedule requirement of the CDC).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assists the Director of Human Resources in the formulation of HR policies and procedures.
Oversee locations Employee Relations and Performance Manager processes with coaching, counseling, investigations and discipline, along with our annual and quarterly review process.
Assists with and ensures that all procedures concerning promotion, transfer and separation of property staff is carried on within property and Company policy and within legal boundaries.
Provide guidance to the leadership team regarding employee morale, employee relations, coaching, counseling and discipline.
Coordinate employee wellness and safety programs.
Conduct research into other hotels’ Human Resource programs and activities and recommend changes and/or innovations where desirable.
Assists in developing and conducting management training on a variety of leadership and HR topics.
Oversee Workers Compensation programs, ensuring claims and reports are submitted in a timely basis, modified duty and ensuring employees return to work.
Assist with planning, coordinating and executing employee events and activities, including monthly All Hands meeting, annual picnic, holiday party, Wellness Fair, community service projects and more.
Assists in the administration of the Company’s benefit program, including but not limited to the Employee of the Month program, Leader of the Quarter program, the bulletin boards and recreational and other social programs.
