Part Time Dishwasher at Saint Benedict Monastery (20-25 hours per week)

Essential functions:

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
• Load and unload dishwashing machines
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g., wooden cutting boards, large pots, and delicate dishes)
• Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, especially during peak hours
• Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
• Remove garbage regularly
• Sanitizes the kitchen area, including the floor
• Be flexible and willing to perform some minor food preparation tasks along with dishwashing duties

Education and experience

• Hands-on experience with industrial dishwashing machines
• Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks as needed
• Attention to detail and sanitation rules
• Availability to work in shifts, during weekends and evenings
• High school diploma or GED

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.50 – $15.00 per hour
