We are seeking an experienced professional Irrigation Foreman to run our high profile commercial installation job in St. Thomas (VI). This individual will be responsible for safely and efficiently providing quality irrigation systems that meet or exceed the standards of our clients and our company. The Irrigation Foreman will be responsible for installing and directing the implementation of irrigation installations for high-profile commercial and high-end projects in St. Thomas.

Minimum Qualifications

• Three (3+) years of Irrigation installation experience and the ability to demonstrate safe operation of equipment.
• Must be able to work as an installer for large commercial properties, lead and direct installation crews as well as follow the instruction of the Project Manager who will be working the job remotely from Florida.
• Work together with the Irrigation Project Manager for irrigation for cost-effective materials needed.
• Must be able to operate a truck & trailer.
• Professionalism, punctuality, reliability and organizational skills.
• Read blueprints.

Duties and Responsibilities: * Planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale irrigation projects in conjunction with landscape and site construction.

• The Foreman position requires management skills AND physical labor.
• Install and maintain clocks, timers and rain sensors.
• Proficient and knowledgeable in the inner workings of all PVC pipe fittings in the installation of sprinkler heads, pop up and rotors.
• Tracking electrical components/trouble-shooting.
• Install irrigation pumps, check valves, well head and screen.
• Install zone valves, electrical valves, and manifolds.
• Be aware of time frame and participate in team effort to complete jobs within budgeted time frame.
• Report any and all concerns with properties to Project Manager.
• Handle company trucks, equipment, and tools safely, maintain cleanliness and care in usage, storage and transport.
• Help keep job sites and work areas clean and safe.
• Operate Trencher/Mini Excavators.

Required experience:

• Irrigation Installation/Repairs Experience: 3+ years
• Valid FL Driver’s License, and able to be added to the company’s insurance policy.
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) is a plus

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $27.00 – $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Weekend availability

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Required)
