Responsibilities:
Assist with payroll issues/attendance in KRONOS system.
Answering payroll questions
Utilize HR systems to produce reports
Process Payroll changes, Job Bids and other hourly position related job to transfers
Assist with tracking and administrating recognition program
Provide data and information as needed for investigations in partnership with HR Manager
Maintain employee files and confidential data
Lead and administer the Annual Performance Review process for front line associates in partnership with management
Administer and track discipline specifically around attendance infractions for the entire plant
Provide feedback to managers and leaders for engagement
Posting job ads and organizing resumes and job applications
Assist with hiring, on-boarding, and training new associates
Assist in onsite interview process as necessary
Adjust training materials for orientation/ training programs as needed
Adhere to EEO and Affirmative Action guidelines.
Ensure full Labor Law and Wage & Hour compliance is adhered to within all operations.
Orienting new employees to the organization (setting up a designated log-in, workstation, email address, employee badges, etc.)
Facilitating resolutions to any payroll errors
Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
Assist with the online applicant investigation requests and assist with new employee background checks.
Update HRIS database records and process paperwork for new hires, terminations and other status changes.
Assist HR Manager with various research projects and/or special projects.
Create new employee personnel files and file papers and documents into appropriate employee files.
Submits employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data.
Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
3-5 years in Human Resources preferred
Strong organizational and planning skills
Experience in time keeping system (Kronos iSeries Central) strongly preferred
Experience in HRIS System (Infinium) strongly preferred
Strong English verbal and written communication skills
Communicate effectively with employees and managers
Attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft office programs and Access database
Experience dealing with a large employee population preferred
Ability to read and write
