EEO/AA Analyst I
Job Summary
Biddle Consulting Group is looking for three (3) full-time entry-level analysts to join the dynamic team of the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)/Affirmative Action (AA) division. During the first few months of employment, the successful candidates will be required to learn the principles, the analyses, and the reports behind affirmative action planning. These will all be taught through classroom-style and hands-on training. Under direct supervision of a Team Lead, the incumbent will work directly with various clients in the fulfillment of their affirmative action planning obligations.
Job Duties
· Work with various in-house applications and tools to complete affirmative action plans (AAPs) and various other projects
· Directly communicate with clients through verbal and written forms
· Provide EEO/AA training to clients
· Work with a team of analysts, consultants, and quality control staff to fulfill own or other team members’ work products
· Learn and understand the principles of and the laws behind EEO/AA planning
· Review, set-up, and analyze various data sets
· Appropriately interpret and convey results of the analyses to the clients
· Provide training and guidance to clients regarding EEO and AA requirements and employer obligations
· Continued education through reading various articles and publications and attending training and conferences/seminars
Minimum Qualifications
A graduate with a Bachelor’s degree. At least a year of experience in a professional setting is preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Knowledge of:
· Worked with Excel
· Worked with Microsoft Word
· Has strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to: Work independently and with a team. Perform multiple tasks concurrently and respond to emergency situations effectively; communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing. Quickly learn various in-house applications to complete and manage own and/or the team’s projects. Be very detail-oriented and quickly spot potential issues with own or co-workers’ work products. Raise questions when unsure, provide possible solutions to problems, and/or provide feedback when appropriate.
Willing to: Learn (and continually get educated on) the principles, the laws and regulations surrounding EEO and Affirmative Action. Travel to client sites for presentations when necessary.
Desired Qualifications: HR certification is a plus but not required. Previous experience in the fields of HR, EEO, and/or AA programs is a PLUS but not required.
