Washington County Behavioral Health Division within the Department of Health and Human Services is recruiting for a Bilingual Spanish/English Wraparound Care Coordinator to join our Wraparound team! Wraparound is a team-based planning and problem-solving process to help youth and their families struggling with emotional, mental, and behavioral problems. The process begins by identifying the family’s strengths and needs and then creating a plan to meet these needs.
In this position, you will work closely in partnership with family and youth partners to build an individualized Wraparound planning team with young individuals enrolled in our voluntary program. Youth and family voices are centered in all of our work and we continually strive to align our work with Oregon’s Wraparound Best Practices. You will also facilitate a fidelity Wraparound process; develop care and safety plans; provide complex case or exceptional needs care coordination; conduct Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) assessments; procure needed treatment, coordinate service delivery; and coordinate and collaborate with system of care/community partners.
The ideal candidate will have an extensive experience working in child/youth mental health field; have knowledge of the child/youth serving system of care; have a passion for serving youth and families with complex needs; have experience in coordinating with the multiple child/youth serving systems; and have strong knowledge of childhood development and complex mental health needs of children, youths and families. They will also understand and be passionate about serving the Latinx community in Washington County.

Bilingual Positions:
Designated bilingual positions require that the incumbent have knowledge of the Spanish language, spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Skill in writing Spanish accurately; ability to speak Spanish fluently; and ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing are required. If you possess these skills, you are encouraged to apply. An additional $75/per pay period for bilingual skills will be paid to qualified employees. Pay periods are every two weeks.
Wraparound Care Coordinator is a working title. This position is classified as a Senior Mental Health Services Coordinator. Washington County organizes its positions into classifications.
