Full Job Description
What You’ll Do:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for aligning corporate goals and strategies with employees and management and translating them into Talent Strategies for their assigned organization. They will partner across the Centers of Excellence (COE) to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the corporate goals of the organization. The HR Business Partner maintains an effective level of business knowledge about their assigned organizations goals, strategic plans, its culture and its people.
- Conducts monthly meetings with respective organization.
- Consults with line management, providing guidance when appropriate.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the COE group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides Talent policy guidance and interpretation.
- Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related Talent matters.
- Provides guidance and input on organization restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Identifies training needs for organization and partners with Talent Development to deliver training.
- Responsible for the off-boarding process, include exit interviews, separation agreements, etc.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of professional, related experience as a Generalist or Business Partner role
- Familiar with employment law concepts
- Extremely strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
- Must have a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, the desire to be a team player, be proactive and suggest ideas for new benefits and easier processes for more efficiency
- High degree of professionalism including the ability to handle sensitive/confidential material
- Strong judgment and employee relations experience
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization
- Must be highly organized with the ability to work autonomously while prioritizing and multitasking several assignments
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- SHRM-CP or PHR a plus
Base Compensation: $85,000 – $115,000 + bonus
Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate and is provided pursuant to Equal Pay Laws. Billtrust intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Our Talent Acquisition team will provide more information about the total compensation package for this position during the interview process.
