Brief Overview:

We are growing rapidly and looking for a passionate professional to help take our HR department to the next level. A successful candidate will be hands-on, professional, approachable, and comfortable handling executive and administrative responsibilities in an extremely fast-paced environment. This position is directly responsible for recruiting and supporting employees, leadership coaching and development, and collaborating with the executive team, finance department, and project managers. The HR Manager will display positive energy, a relaxing temperament, and a commitment to excellence.

This leader will work with senior leaders in the organization focusing on long-term goals, forecasting, and planning, and will provide strategic support to leaders to explore, develop and implement system initiatives and achieve organizational goals. The HR Manager leads efforts to drive system-wide initiatives by leveraging resources to accomplish this. This candidate must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, a self-starting mentality, and a devotion to raising the bar for others in the organization.

Note: We operate out of two offices, our main office in Tumwater and a smaller office in Paso. There may be times when the HR Manager may be asked to visit our Pasco office, which will be compensated.

Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and be able to provide proof of vaccination, no exemptions.

Pay:

• Salary
• $52,000 – $72,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Owning, managing, implementing, and evolving HR policies and programs.
• Provides excellent customer service as the first point of contact for callers and in-person visitors to the HR department. A positive, helpful attitude is always required.
• Performs as a member of the HR team, exhibiting a high degree of expertise in all employee onboarding and offboarding processes such as BambooHR, Swipeclock, criminal and medical background checks, and unemployment verification.
• Ensuring legal compliance with all Federal, State, and other applicable laws and regulations.
• Proactively monitoring organizational culture and highlighting issues and areas for improvement.
• Being a strategic thought partner on organizational growth and talent development.
• Working with the team to conceive and implement meaningful employee recognition programs.
• Other scopes of work as defined by management

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of people leadership experience
• 3+ years of professional Human Resources experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, Master’s Degree a plus
• Human Resources Professional Certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM)

• Ability to work with a variety of people in a professional, helpful and positive manner.
• Experience in recruiting and culture management
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and analytical skills
• An understanding of healthcare people and millennial workers
• Experience identifying gaps and improving processes and programs

• Experience prioritizing needs and coming to the table with solutions
• Ability to model and strictly follow directions or procedures as required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) required

Minimum Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree or higher
