Bison USA is looking for a Human Resources Generalist for our Grand Forks terminal. The HR Generalist is responsible for performing duties dealing with day-to-day Human Resources functions – including recruiting, hiring, and on-boarding, as well as benefits, leaves of absence, employee development & recognition, discipline, etc. In supporting the team, a HR Generalist will have routine employee contact and be able to execute detailed, delicate, and confidential work. A HR Generalist will have duties in overarching HR functions, but may specialize in a particular HR area.
Our successful candidate will demonstrate experience in human resource functions, have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, will act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times, will have a thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations at the state and federal levels, will have sound conflict resolution skills, strong attention to detail, and have strong PC skills – Windows, MS Office Suite.
Finally, this position requires a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field plus 1 year of HR experience OR high school diploma + 4 years of demonstrated experience. PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
Wages are based on experience and criteria match and will generally range between $18-$28/hour.
