We are seeking an experienced Automotive Engineer to assist us with designing, developing and producing unique solutions for our custom builds. We are one of Fairfield County’s fastest growing, most innovative automotive companies.
Automotive Engineer Responsibilities
- Design, develop and engineer vehicle components
- Prepare R&D and production cost estimates
- Utilize CAD / Design software extensively to digitally design prototypes and model components
- Strong problem solving and diagnostic skills
- Working closely with suppliers, vendors and 3rd party manufacturing partners.
Automotive Engineer Qualifications:
- Avid interest in custom fabrication and design
- Strong analytical and design skills.
- Thorough understanding of technical concepts, metallurgy, safety standards.
- Organized and able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Experience with AutoCad, Solidworks and other 3D modelling and design software.
- Existing manufacturing relationships a plus.
