The Human Resources Manager is responsible for administration of the company’s human resources programs and for supervision of the human resources staff. They are the go-to person for all employee-related issues. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the administration of compensation, benefits, recruiting, staffing, employee relations, and performance management. Provides counsel to all levels of leadership on human resources issues, including providing input to the business planning process. This position also focuses on:
Provides counsel to leadership and employees on human resources issues and policies with the intent of enhancing employee relations and maximizing company productivity, as well as reducing exposure to legal liabilities. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Responsible for planning, development, and implementation of effective human resource strategies and policies. Assists Senior Management in developing short and long term objectives, goals, and strategies. Administers operational plans, policies, and goals which further strategic objectives.
Manages the recruiting and retention program of the credit union to identify needed critical skills, employ, place, and/or transfer internal and external managers, professionals, technicians, and support staff to ensure adequate staffing levels. Recommends and administers effective recruiting and retention programs. Conducts exit interviews along with evaluating people analytics to increase retention and a certified best work environment.
Manages the company’s benefit programs and works with HR staff to consult with and advise employees on their eligibility for these and other related benefits. Ensures compliance with all legal requirements of HR programs and ensures reports are made as required. Compares vendors to identify cost savings. Manages the 401(k) program and oversees the annual audit process.
Manages and administers the credit union’s compensation software, and updates salary grades, and job descriptions. Coordinates salary changes with payroll. Ensures accurate, updated personnel information is available to other departments and to organizations as required.
Ensure company compliance with FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, FLSA, ERISA and other federal, state and local laws. Files EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Full Time Position
Compensation Range: $59,289 – $88,934
