The Role

Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), the global organization that manages one of the most recognizable international wireless brands, is seeking a Staff Accountant to expand the capabilities of the accounting team in support of the growing Bluetooth organization.

Our company is growing at an unprecedented rate, and we are hiring a Staff Accountant to join our team. You will be part of a team to deliver the company’s financial statements by performing various general accounting duties and pursuing continuous improvement to support Bluetooth accounting processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, critical thought process, high ethical standards, and strong analytical skills. The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Senior Finance Manager and will need to demonstrate the ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced office environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable in accordance with company policy
• Act as a liaison for vendors to reconcile any billing discrepancies
• Performs month-end closing activities and account reconciliations, including associated journal entry preparation and posting
• Ensure expense accruals are adequate
• Develop and maintain accounting policy in accordance with GAAP
• Act as a backup to other accounting team members as needed
• Assist in completing annual audits
• Perform special duties and other projects as assigned
