Our BMW store is presently looking for an experienced Technician with European car repair background. We have a busy, clean well-run shop. Our shop has been number 1 in the market, number 2 in new England, top 10 % Easter Region and top 10% benchmark nation.
Automotive Technician / Mechanic Job Responsibilities:
- Automotive technicians / mechanics perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- We run a busy, clean, productive shop with a team environment and factory training.
- Automotive Technicians / Mechanics diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
- Automotive technicians / Mechanics provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
- Automotive Technician / Mechanic explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
- Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
- High-line experience preferred.
Job Requirements for Automotive Technician / Mechanic
- Must have experience as an Automotive Technician/ Mechanic
- Must be willing to invest and grow in your chosen profession.
- Continue to engage in mandatory paid training.
- Posses a valid drivers license.
